MAK’SHO DANCE THEATER
In 1991, I was invited to take my Mak’Sho dance troupe to the Australia. We were featured in the Warana International Festival in Brisbane, Queensland, in the ‘Land Down Under’.
Though I would be criticized for my actions, I also invited two other dance groups into our dance circle: the Mananjali Neggombeah dance group from Australia and the Te’awhina dance troupe from New Zealand. Never in history had this ever happened before: three native peoples groups - the Native American, the Aborigine and the Maori - were in one circle dancing together!
Few men have had the honor of dancing in a Sacred Circle with the Aborigines of Australia.  Fewer men have had the great honor of dancing in a Sacred Circle with a Maori dance group. I have had the exceptional  honor of dancing in a Sacred Circle both groups at the same time!
To Mananjali Neggombeah  of Australia...
And to Te’awhina of New Zealand...
Thank you! I am honored!
