THE RELIGIOUS COMMUNITY IS WRONG!

I began my personal search for the Truth so many years ago.

It began with a story told to me by my grandfather about the fall of a being from the skies. I never had any problem with the story, it fit in precisely with the other stories about Hopi katsina sky beings, the Navajo yeibechai and Apache gans beings. There were beings in the stars. Later when I learned about other Ways of Life, the Christian and Hebrew ‘Sky Being’, the long ago ‘Sky Beings’ of the Greeks and Sumerians and other ancient peoples all fit in with and supported the story that my grandfather told me.

In college, much like every student, I began to question everything I had grown up with. I wanted to know. All the religions seemed to be saying the same thing, but they all claimed that theirs was the only True Way. And so I began to study the oldest religions. One by one as I studied them, I found that each religion was an adaptation or transformation of another much earlier religion. Ultimately, what I found was that each and every modern-day religion was derived from the Ways of the most ancient Native peoples of the world.

Then unfortunately, as I looked around, I found myself surrounded and swallowed up by a world which seemed to have changed these very basic Ways into standards which did not make sense - and did not work. Yes, there is a great deal of good in our world, but it comes from individuals, both those who are outside of and those who are within our institutions, not from the institutions themselves. Our global institutions have been corrupted into vehicles for the benefit of the few while presenting the false front that it is for the benefit of the people.

I believe that as citizens of our world, we should hold our leaders accountable, we want our leaders accountable. But they are not. And it is not just our political leaders and our science leaders who have failed us in the past, unfortunately it is also our own religious leaders who have failed us.

We must face the truth: Our modern-day faiths are not working. They provide no answers we can use and point of fact, we cannot live our present-day religions, they go against the very nature of our being. (Why must we suppress the very nature given to us by God?) We are told that we must suppress our natural state because it is ‘bad’. We are born in sin. However, if we follow the bidding of the church, we frustrate our natural impulses, we bow to our humanity, and we become ‘sinners’. Because we are ‘sinners’, we need the church and its bidding even more. It is an unending cycle that serves the church, not us.

I have argued on this website that the UFO community is wrong. So, too, I have argued that the Science community is wrong. And now, it is time to make one more very bold and very brash statement:

...the Religious community is wrong.
