JOURNEYS, SACRED SITES

At dawn on one Easter Sunday, I was granted the privilege of performing an Honoring Dance on the high peak of Mount Warning, a sacred mountain for the Aborigines.
Thank you to Lorraine ‘Mafi’ Williams, to the Native People of Australia, and to the Spirit of Mount Warning for that very special day.
On a special day in my visit to New Zealand, I was granted the privilege and honor of participating in a Welcoming ceremony to the Place of Gatherings, the Sacred House known as the Marai.
I am truly one of the most fortunate men on the planet to be able to join with the many Native Peoples of the world in celebration.
The ‘Gathering Place’, The ‘Welcoming’...
The ‘Haka’, The Honor...
And the amazing Wonder of it all...

Mount Warning is the remnant of a mighty volcano that erupted long, long ago. It’s tip is the first piece of Mother Earth that is touched by the rising Sun every morning.
